They were mentored by the renowned Malaysian rock group May, also hailing from Ipoh, and often served as the opening act during May’s road tours. Despite their promising start, Hidayu disbanded after releasing just one album. Their music remains a testament to the vibrant Malaysian rock scene of the early ’90s. |
