| Artist’s Biography | : | SYJ, initially known as “Ex-December,” was formed in 1978 by Syed Yusuf Jamalulail, from Ipoh, Perak. They gained prominence after participating in the 1986 “Battle of the Bands”. Following this success, they changed their name to Sofea and released their debut album, “Kembali,” in 1987. Throughout their career, Sofea underwent several lineup changes. They disbanded in the early 1990s, leaving a lasting impact on Malaysia’s rock scene. |
