The fourth edition of the Ipoh Music Symposium (IMS) took place from October 21st to 23rd, 2022. The symposium focused on the theme “Pop 60an: Emulasi, Revolusi & Legaso”, exploring the vibrant music scenes of the 1960s in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. Dato’ Dr Johari Salleh, a prominent figure in Malaysian music, delivered the keynote address. Additionally, distinguished music personalities such as Art Fazil from Singapore, Michael HB Raditya from Indonesia, and Azam Dungun from Malaysia presented their insightful studies at the event.
