| Artist’s Biography | : | Sofea is a well-known Malaysian rock band that originated in Kampung Manjoi, Ipoh, Perak. The band was formed in 1983 under the name SYJ, which stands for their manager, Syed Yusuf Jamalulail. The band started off by performing at local weddings and community gatherings in Kampung Manjoi. Following internal changes and the departure of their manager, the band rebranded themselves as Sofea. |
