Her musical journey began in Kuala Kangsar, where she emerged as a vocalist for The Pelicans, a band that made waves during the Juara Kugiran 1971–72 competition. Gadis di Ibu Kota, the Pelicans’ debut EP on MMI Records, is considered a cult classic among collectors and one of Malaysia’s hardest psychedelic-fuzz albums. |
